What we install

Ten fence builds, one local family crew.

Residential, commercial, ranch — wood, metal, vinyl, motorized. If it goes in the ground in El Paso County, we've built it.

Cedar Privacy Fence

Western red cedar, dog-eared or board-on-board, set in concrete. Built to handle Colorado wind and 30-degree temperature swings.

See cedar builds

Picket Fence

Traditional cedar picket — gothic, French, or square top. Curb-appeal for Old Colorado City, Manitou and Old North End homes.

See pickets

Chain-Link Fence

Galvanized or vinyl-coated, residential to commercial-grade. Pet runs, school yards, equipment yards, security perimeters.

See chain-link

Ornamental Iron

Powder-coated steel — flat-top, spear-point, puppy-picket. The look of wrought iron without the rust headaches.

See iron

Vinyl Fence

Privacy, semi-private, or ranch-rail. Won't warp, rot or need a stain. Heavy-gauge, UV-stable for the Colorado sun.

See vinyl

Commercial Fencing

Schools, churches, HOAs, contractors. Phased installs, prevailing-wage capable, certificate-of-insurance ready.

See commercial

Pool Fencing

Code-compliant ornamental iron and mesh — self-closing, self-latching gates. Permit-ready for El Paso and Douglas counties.

See pool fencing

Stock & Ranch Fencing

Split-rail, woven wire, no-climb horse fence, barbed wire. Long-run pricing for Black Forest, Peyton and Calhan ranches.

See ranch builds

Gates & Automation

Slide, swing and cantilever gates with LiftMaster, DoorKing, Apollo, FAAC or Linear operators. Keypad, intercom, vehicle-loop integration.

See gate work

Repairs & Storm Damage

Hail, wind, snow-load, neighbor's truck — we fix posts, panels and gates, often without replacing the whole run.

Beyond the fence line

Custom fabrication & metalwork most fence companies won't touch.

Alpine isn't just a fence crew — we're craftsmen in carpentry and metal. When a project calls for a one-of-a-kind iron gate, a hand-cut medallion, a steel-framed entry or a fabricated ranch drive gate, we design and build it in-house.

  • Hand-cut ornamental iron art & medallions
  • Steel-framed cedar gates that won't sag
  • Oversized fabricated ranch & driveway gates
  • Custom carpentry — pergola tops, arbors & trim
  • Superior design & custom fabrication, backed by our craftsmanship warranty

Our story

A Colorado Springs family.
43 years of post-holes.

Alpine Fence is family-owned and operated, and our crew has spent 43+ years on Colorado Springs job sites. Owner Branden Patzel runs it the same way it's always been run: show up when we say we'll show up, build it to last through Colorado's worst weather, and stand behind it after the check clears.

We're not the biggest fence outfit in town. We're the one that still answers the phone when you call, drives out to look at the property before quoting it, and sets every post in concrete — every time.

Built for Colorado weather

Three materials.
Three Colorado-tested promises.

Every material has a place. Here's how we match them to your property, budget and what mother nature throws at you.

Material · 01

Cedar

Warm, traditional, residential favorite.

  • Western red cedar — naturally rot- and bug-resistant
  • Dog-eared, board-on-board, picket or shadow-box
  • Posts set in concrete, galvanized hardware
  • Ages beautiful silver, or seal it to keep warm tones
  • Best for: privacy, curb appeal, pet yards

Material · 03

Vinyl

Stain-free, fade-resistant, premium profiles.

  • Heavy-gauge profiles — not the box-store stuff
  • UV-stabilized for the Colorado sun
  • Privacy, semi-private, ranch-rail, picket
  • Never stain it. Hose it off twice a year. Done.
  • Best for: low-maintenance buyers, light colors
